The Jukebox: March Madness

This is hopefully the beginning of a beautiful new segment where the DJ’s at Bench Life semi-regularly deliver playlists to the starving public. Seeing as it is the beginning of March with the Madness just around the corner, I’ve compiled a list of songs that I feel could inspire history’s first perfect bracket.
To kick this playlist off, One Shining might be the most obvious selection of all time. The song is synonymous with College Basketball, March Madness, dreams and aspirations. After any big beer pong win in the month of March should be punctuated with this tune.
From there we get a diverse mix that ranges from the soundtracks of Space Jam and Like Mike, to quintessential mid-2000’s songs that were part of every team’s warm-up track. Mix in some newish Drake, Future’s “March Madness” (a little on the nose but I digress), and NBC’s NBA Theme and I feel like I have most bases covered. Also, even though I despise Duke, you have to mix in a little Cascada.
